We are on the hunt for Makers! We want to showcase the work of the wonderful and talented Maker community, whether you do-it-yourself, or do-it-together with friends, if you want to share your work with the people of Wellington, we want to hear from you! We’re looking for interactive, hands-on or process oriented displays, workshop, or presentations, there are limited spaces available so register your interest quickly! Maker Faire is not a market, trade-show, or exhibition – it’s all about interactive fun, the more obscure and weird the better! This is also a good opportunity to network and connect with a community of Makers.
You might create in your garage or Maker Space, be a master of a particular craft or performance, have a collection of home-built robots, make obscure inventions there are no restrictions on who can apply (and no fee), but here are some topics we are looking for:
We will be accepting applications for a limited number of commercial makers (fee applies). Find out more here
The team have begun the curation process for Maker Faire Wellington. Maker Faire Wellington is a curated event with an ongoing curation process. We reserve the right to select entries based on proposal completeness, exhibit content, items sold, and other factors.
